What Kind Of Work Do You Do?

I specialize in cartoons and humorous illustration for children's books, greeting cards, logos, advertisements, packaging, caricatures, t-shirts, magazines, gift wrap, and so much more. I am also available for more streamlined, professional design that will make your project stand out from the rest. Other services I offer are 3D design, Flash animation and graphic design.

Do You Do Paintings, Murals, Airbrush or Tattoos?

Sorry, I do not do any of the above for an on hire basis. I do enjoy painting on occasion but am not available for custom paintings at this time. Most of my work is hand drawn then colored and completed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

How Do You Work?

The process begins with a contact e-mail from a potential client. They explain briefly the project they are working on, what they are looking to have illustrated and the time frame they would like the project completed. I then contact the client with my availability, estimate and any additional information. After the project is confirmed, I design several rough concepts for the client to view. They then decide upon the rough draft they feel best fits what they are looking for and I begin fine tuning the illustration. I import the illustration into Illustrator and or Photoshop, making adjustments to the line art and adding color. Throughout the process I keep the client notified of the illustration's progress, often sending samples of the work and making any necessary changes they desire. Noone is left in the dark, after all, it's a collaborative effort and it's important to me that the client is absolutely satisfied with the final project. When the work is finished, I immediately notify the client and then send the final image for review. If the client has any last minute changes, if possible they are worked through and the completed print ready image is sent digitally. Lastly the final invoice is sent and I look forward to seeing the image(s) in print.

Do You Work With Non-Profit Groups?

Absolutely. Each year I am approached by non-profit groups and enjoy working with a number of them on a pro-bono basis. If you belong to a non-profit organization in need of custom artwork or logos I encourage you to contact me.

Pricing

My pricing varies on a number of factors including the nature of the project, the image's usage, turn around time (the time frame in which the project needs to be completed), the amount of images needed and rights desired. I typically divide payment into two parts: 50% of the fee is due upon signing, and the remaining is 50% due upon your approval of the final preview image. Prices start at $100 per illustration. Other projects such as animation, 3D imagery, photo repair or manipulation and logos vary. Please contact me for an estimate.
